At the begninning of the quarter, we only saw movies that were queers that killed people, but none of the queers loved each other, and none of them were romantic. I personally love romantic, especially if it's homo-romantic because it's even cuter (I like cute things too). Monster was a pretty romantic film. You have this big macho lesbian woman with a tough exterior, and you can actually see her soften up, and see that she has this big heart with lots of love to give. That's freakin beautiful! The way she protects Christina Ricci's character just warms our hearts, that is sooo romantic!! Also another movie we saw that was super romantic was Plata Quemada. Angel y Nene had so much love for each other. And you could see how intense the love for one-another was whenever they had their little fights (their lover's quarrels), now that was romantic. Romance doesn't have to be all lovey dovey all the time. But the ending of that movie takes the cake. That was the most romantic ending to a movie that I have ever seen! (pass me the tissue paper). When they both knew they were going to die and they didn't give a fuck, and just said fuck it, we're going to die together. That was sooo romantic! That has to be the best movie ever. I love Plata Quemada. Monster was a cool movie too. Both movies definitely qualify as options for a romantic-movie-night with the bae.
